Prayed is a prayer journal for iPhone and Apple Watch from Cooper Industries, an independent developer in Huntington Beach, California. You write what you are praying for, and Prayed matches three Bible verses to it on the phone itself, then brings the prayer back to you at three days, a week, a month and a year so you can see what you asked for beside what came of it. It has no server and no account, so nothing a person writes can leave their device except through their own iCloud. Writing is free with no cap; Prayed Plus, which remembers a whole history rather than the last thirty days, is $34.99 a year or $5.99 a month with a seven-day trial. Version 2.0, released September 11, 2026, added Apple Watch, Siri, bring-back-on-a-date reminders, and month and year reviews.
Why it is different
Most prayer apps are either a Bible reader with a notes field or a social feed of other people's requests. Prayed is neither. It is built around one idea: a prayer you wrote should come back to you later, dated, so that the answer is visible. And it takes the privacy of that writing seriously in a way the category mostly does not. There is no Prayed server to breach, no account to leak, and the scripture matching runs on a small model inside the app, so it works in airplane mode and never sends text anywhere. The only third-party code is anonymous usage counts, and the App Store privacy label reads Data Not Collected.
